The Olympic Stadium in Montreal, Canada was built as the main venue for the 1976 Summer Olympics in the mid-1970s. The stadium can hold a seating capacity of 56,040 (plus extra with temporary seating) people making it the largest stadium by seating capacity in Canada. It now is a multipurpose facility (with artificial grass) for special events and was used after the Olympics by Montreal's professional football and baseball teams.

The Montreal Tower is at the north base of the stadium is the world's tallest inclined tower which stands at 175 meters (574ft).
