Albert Einstein is considered one of the most influential scientists of the 20th century. He is best known for his revolutionary Theory of Relativity, which changed the way scientists viewed the physical universe. He was born on March 14, 1879, in Ulm, Germany, but moved to Munich with his family when he was an infant. He attended the Polytechnic Academy in Zurich, Switzerland, where he studied mathematics and physics.

Einstein's greatest contribution to science was his Theory of Relativity, which proposed that the laws of physics are the same in all inertial frames of reference, regardless of their relative motion. This revolutionary idea was presented in his paper "On the Electrodynamics of Moving Bodies" in 1905.
